At 31st Union, our commitment to embracing local culture and fostering team connections remains at the heart of everything we do. This year’s Fallas celebration at Villa Indiano was an unforgettable experience. Set in a beautifully restored 20th-century villa, the event blended Valencian culture, cuisine, and camaraderie in a stunning countryside setting.

Fallas is a vibrant festival known for its artistic monuments, fireworks, and deep-rooted traditions. For those unfamiliar with the history and customs of Fallas, we invite you to explore our 2024 event recap for a deeper dive into this extraordinary celebration.
The day’s festivities began with welcome cocktails and local appetizers before an exclusive MasterChef class with Chef Chabela Soler, the World Paella Day Cup winner. Guided by Chef Soler’s expertise, our team learned the art of preparing traditional paella, deepening our appreciation for this iconic dish before gathering to enjoy the meal together.

Following the hands-on cooking experience, we savored a cocktail-style feast featuring a selection of local specialties. The wonderful duo Harvest Moon provided entertainment while we ate, playing timeless music that created a perfect vibe. As the day unfolded, we indulged in the Valencian tradition of sobremesa — lingering over coffee and regional liqueurs —before DJ Ruben took over, turning the evening into a lively dance party.

Beyond great food and entertainment, the event was a chance to unwind, strengthen connections, and share a cultural experience with colleagues, families, and even a few furry friends. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and a renewed appreciation for the rich traditions of Valencia. Until next year, Visca les Falles!
